With the rise of smart parking control systems across the Baltics, Riga’s Skonto Stadium has implemented a fully integrated, smart parking solution since 2023. The parking control system combines ANPR, barriers, and parking payment kiosks to manage daily parking and handle busy event days easily.

Project Overview

BISS implemented a barrier-based smart parking management system at Skonto Stadium which includes automatic number plate recognition (ANPR), sensors that detect cars, LED displays, and barriers. The parking lot is divided into two parts with different prices and rules, making it easy to manage for everyone—from people who park daily to football fans.

Drivers can pay for parking easily using on-site parking payment kiosks or the Mobilly mobile app, giving them flexible and convenient payment options.
